The American communist Left has begun an all-out push in the Age of President Donald J. Trump to completely destroy our history, culture and traditions, likely because they sense that our 45th president just may be the one capable of defeating them once and for all with his “MAGA” message.
They are, of course, being aided by the legacy media and the Leftist-run technology companies we have been allowed to become far too pervasive and powerful. Case in point: A New York Times columnist just recently called on Facebook to censor all pro-life websites by labeling their information “anti-abortion fake news.”
By cherry-picking select stories and sites, and relying on discredited “fact-checking” organizations like Media Matters — a far-Left outfit founded by uber-Leftist and Clinton sycophant David Brock — columnist Rossalyn Warren then paints with a broad journalistic brush to complain that Facebook isn’t doing enough to address “the vast amount of misinformation and unevidenced stories about reproductive rights, science and health.”
“Evidence-based, credible articles about abortion from reputable news outlets like The New York Times and The Washington Post didn’t make it to the top of the list of “most shared” articles on Facebook last year, according to BuzzSumo. But articles from the site LifeNews.com did,” she complains, while at the same time failing to inform her readers that two of the biggest purveyors of fake news over the last election cycle were her beloved Times and Post. (Related: The corporate-controlled media has been weaponized against America… “disinfo dictatorship” seeks to replace all FACTS with FICTIONS.)
As seen by Warren, who has also been published by reliably Left-wing sites like The Guardian and Buzzfeed, the problem is that Facebook isn’t using the right criteria to judge what is and isn’t “fake” regarding information posted on pro-Life sites like LifeNews.com.
Currently, Facebook concentrates on sites that mimic existing sites or are financially motivated to produce misleading stories. However, so-called “anti-abortion” sites are neither because they publish their own content and are motivated by ideology, not profit, Warren observed.
And she also claimed that Facebook really only started to pay attention to fake news and crack down on it after facing “intense scrutiny” from public and mainstream media pressure after the 2016 election. Now, she says, the social media giant is concentrating on “the worst of the worst, on the clear hoaxes by spammers for their own gain.”
“That’s why those of us who are concerned by the misinformation around reproductive rights need to make ourselves heard,” she said, adding that much more pressure must be brought to bear against Facebook to censor ‘anti-abortion information.’
The very language that Warren uses — terms like “anti-abortion” instead of “pro-life” and “reproductive rights” instead of the term “abortion” — are in and of themselves liberally biased and prove that she is actually the one who is motivated by ideology.
By throwing in a few of the most heinous examples of fake abortion-related news and then tossing in a few specific websites, she creates the illusion that all pro-life sites are filled with bytes and bytes of fake news and that none of them are reputable, scientifically-sourced or credible.
The fact is, most of those sites are reputable, credible and well-sourced; it’s just that Warren doesn’t like those sources personally because they also push a political point of view that’s generally conservative, and she obviously isn’t.
This is what communists do: They insist they are the ones ‘fighting the good fight’ on ‘behalf of truth and justice,’ when in reality their ‘battle’ masks their agenda of authoritarianism. Warren, like others on the communist Left in America, doesn’t want a legitimate debate over ideas. They seek to impose their anti-traditional ideology on the entire country by force or by censorship.
And that’s about as un-American as it gets.
